IT'S A BIRD, IT'S A DOG, IT'S A DOG IN A BIRD BATH
Well, that's one way to beat the heat. Unfortunately, Tweety Bird isn't so fond of fur balls in her bathtub, not to mention there are better ways to keep Bluey from overheating in the summer - just keep reading. From the hot temps to the beach, keeping our pet dogs safe during the long summer months should take top priority and we tell you just what to be on the lookout for, so that you can be fetch while playing...er, fetch. And yes, we're making that happen.

| DON'T BE SALTY: While humans may have an entire food group dedicated to salt, too much of it can be a very bad thing for your pooch... and your dog.😉 Saltwater poisoning can be fatal, according to the AKC, "[Saltwater] can lead to deadly amounts of fluid around the brain, inflammation, and gastric ulcers and hemorrhages.” Be sure to pack plenty of that high quality H2O to keep Pluto from guzzling the ocean.
PAW PATROL: Spoiler alert: the sand gets hot. While it's funny when others bust out an impromptu "Sands So Hot" two-step, it's way less funny when we do it ourselves. But no one finds it less amusing than pups with twice the number of feet to burn. Luckily, there's a shoe for that. |

| This sweet smiling ball of fur is Hank. Always down for a good cuddle sesh and never one to pass on playtime, Hank is just pleased to please. As a member of our puppy classes, we've watched this floof goof go from not-so-tiny fluff to a giant gentle tank. While we were busy tending to our melting hearts Hank was busy learning good boi stuff - to sit, to walk calmly on a leash and even managed a few tricks.
