Puppy Elementary Class

You and your pup made it to Elementary School! Well done!

With the support of our experienced trainers, you'll learn how to take your training to the next level beyond the basics. Use games and tricks to sharpen your pup's skills as they mature and become  more independent. This is the time to add pro tips and advice to your arsenal of tools, and we've got you covered. From demand barking to recalls under distraction, you'll get answers.

Training focuses on proofing verbal control without using food lures or rewards every time. Exercises include distance Sits in play (for the home, yard, dog parks and off-leash walks), Settle Down, rock-solid Stays, and both Off-Leash and On-Leash Walking and Heeling. Puppy Elementary will help you teach your growing pup to be calm, attentive, responsive and to respond quickly, willingly and happily, especially when distracted, off-leash, and at a distance.

 WHEN: Meets 1 time a week for 6 weeks. Each class is 1 hour long.
   NOTE: Orientation Session is Delivered Online Prior to starting class.
              Sign up ASAP, so you have time to review this before your 1st class.
LOCATION:  Advanced Animal Care of Mt. Pleasant - Indoor & Outdoor.
PARTICIPANT FEE: – $365
*PREREQUISITES: 
1.) Puppies should be between 5 and 11 months of age as of class START DATE.
2.) CURRENT VACCINATION RECORDS showing age appropriate vaccinations are on schedule.  Upload during registration or have your vet email to connect@wonderdoguniversity.
3.) Not required, but strongly recommended for your success - Preschool Class  or an In-Person Private Training Consult prior to class.

NOTE: Wonder Dog University uses only Modern, Dog Training, no-force, science-based methods.
NO choke, slip or prong collars are permitted in class.
